Silvana Fair

Viking Hall is located in the small town of
Silvana, which is located on State Highway 530, just two miles west of Interstate Five at the Arlington exit. Interstate Five connects Silvana to the neighboring communities of Arlington to the east, Marysville and Everett to the south and Stanwood and Mount Vernon to the north.

In the late 1890’s the area was one of the largest Norwegian settlements in the west. Famous landmarks include the Little White Church on the Hill, overlooking the scenic
Stillaguamish River Valley, and the iconic Viking Hall.

Viking Hall was very popular in the 1950’s and 60’s for its rock ‘n’ roll dances and community events. Today, Viking Hall is the site of many weddings, social gatherings and events that include the Silvana Fair, Fair Auction, Silvana Car Show , monthly Bingo and other communitiy activities. Even today Viking Hall and Silvana are well ingrained with Scandinavian heritage and culture.
